Mushroom spores are microscopic seeds that when combined 2 or more together a connection is made and mycelium is formed. Mycelium is a mushroom root network that will spread and grow on the substrate and will eventually grow mushrooms if exposed to the right fruiting conditions. We sell viable spores that are guaranteed sterile (clean). Without sterility spores cannot be properly studied, as contamination can easily happen if they are not collected and handled in a sterile environment. We collect spores from a variety of species and strains worldwide and we sell them for taxonomy and microscopic research purposes only.
